Next-Generation Sodium-Ion Battery Systems
Safe. Lightweight. High-performance. Engineered for modern mobility platforms, telecom infrastructure, UPS systems, and clean energy applications.
Technology
Why Sodium-Ion Batteries Are the Smarter Choice
The global battery landscape is entering a structural transition. Rising lithium costs, increasing safety requirements, and accelerating charging infrastructure are reshaping automotive energy storage. The market increasingly needs a chemistry optimized for frequent cycling, heat, fast charging, and partial-state-of-charge operation.
Abundant raw materials
Sodium is widely available, reducing supply-chain and geopolitical risk
Low-temperature strength
Stable operation down to -40°C with very good power retention
Multiple safety protections
No thermal runaway behavior and zero-volt storage tolerance
Longer cycle life
High cycle durability at full depth of discharge and under frequent intermediate-SOC cycling.
Low self-discharge
Less than 3% per month, unlike lead-acid and lithium-ion, requiring no regular SOC maintenance in storage.
Mission & Vision
We are not competing on peak energy density. We are optimizing for real-world robustness.
The Automotive Shift
Built for the Advancing Needs of Modern Vehicles
Modern electrical systems are fundamentally incompatible with traditional lead-acid behavior. Start-stop operation, regenerative braking, and high hotel loads create frequent micro-cycling and long periods at partial state of charge: exactly the conditions under which lead-acid degrades fastest.
Sodium-ion technology delivers faster charging capability, stable performance across a wide temperature range, simplified storage for easier handling, and reliable operation across demanding environments compared to conventional battery systems.

Lifetime Economics
Longer operational life, radically lower TCO
The economics improve not merely through cycle life, but through operational survivability in harsh conditions. Lifetime figures are projected/early-field estimates depending on supplier maturity.
3x longer SLI life
Typical service life of 6-12 years in starter battery duty, vs. 2-4 years for flooded lead-acid
5x mild-hybrid multiplier
Operational robustness under frequent microcycling multiplies service life in 12V/48V mild-hybrid duty
Radically lower TCO
High cycle life plus partial-SOC tolerance resist the degradation mechanisms that fail batteries in the field
Safety
Engineered for demanding conditions and absolute safety
Built for Indian summers, unstable grids, and demanding mobility environments.

No thermal runaway
Eliminates the fire risk profile associated with lithium chemistries.
Zero-volt tolerance
Can be shipped and stored at 0 V safely, with charge retention for up to 3 months.
High-temperature strength
Strong performance in ambient temperatures up to +60°C.
Robust charging behavior
Reliable under irregular and volatile charging conditions.

Cell formats
One chemistry, two cell formats
The same sodium-ion chemistry is built in two cell formats, so the pack can follow the application rather than the other way round.
Cylindrical cells carry our modular systems. The NaCR46145-15PR is the reference format wherever many identical cells are stacked into a pack and thermal paths need to stay short and predictable.
Prismatic cells go where a flat, space-efficient block is the better fit. They sit inside the 12V stationary storage line, for example the NX-ESSNa12160, and inside our telecom systems built on the NaCP50160118-80E3 and NaCP50160153-100E3.
Both formats share the same cell chemistry, the same safety architecture and the same BMS platform, which keeps qualification effort and spare part logistics on one track.
